Ways to Lose Weight Naturally

Spread the love

Can you believe it? People spend billions of dollars on diet books, the latest diet crazes, miracle diet drugs, and different medical procedures that help people get rid of fat. Isn’t it ridiculous? These weight loss manufacturers are making money, hand over fist, and getting rich by taking advantage of people who just want to look good and be healthy.

Today, people are spending so much money on trying to lose weight that they don’t see the root causes of their problem. So many people want to lose weight last year, last week, or yesterday and will do anything to get it. They want it Now!  When in reality, there are many ways to lose weight naturally. By including a few changes in our daily lifestyle, we can find ways to lose weight naturally and keep it off.

Sabotaged By Our Food

But most obesity and weight gain in today’s society isn’t all our fault. We need to put the blame where it really belongs, the food manufacturers. When will people figure out that we are all products of our environment regardless of what country or century we happen to be born in? Today, if you look at the manufacturer’s labels on our food, you will notice all types of fats and chemical additives that are packing on weight and slowly killing us. This is the main reason why obesity cost so much and is killing us.

                              Processed Foods

Oh, The Caveman Days!

Have you ever seen a fat caveman? How many pictures of a fat caveman have you ever seen? You’ve never seen a fat caveman or pictures of one because obesity never happened back at the beginning of civilization. A caveman’s diet was completely natural and different back then. Early food sources during caveman times that were available were very basic and provided only the necessities for survival and growth.

Cavemen lived on Mastodon meat, berries, roots, and fish. There where no Snickers, Little Debbie Oatmeal pies, Lays Potato Chips,

                           Caveman

or Coke. If you look back at their food, they had a balance of protein, carbohydrates, and fats every day of the year. There were no drive-thrus, convenience stores, or other fast food joints.

Cavemen didn’t know what microwave meals were or prepackaged foods. Mastodon meat never came prepackaged with noodles or potatoes for a quick and easy meal. There was no such thing as sugar, flour, or manufactured fats that led to heart disease, diabetes, stroke, and a host of other health problems. Combine that with the fact that they burned all their extra calories off by walking for miles every day in search of food.

Then Came The 19th Century

When I looked at books from the 19th century and see pictures of people inside, I can’t remember seeing any people who were fat or obese. Obesity was not a major issue during this time. Most people where average-sized and maybe the odd person would be obese.

The people of the 19th century had better food choices that were available at the time. They didn’t have fast food, chemical

                  Farmer

additives, force-fed animals, pesticides, and fertilizers. They also didn’t have a killer variety of hydrogenated fats that people are exposed to on a daily basis as we do now. Many were farmers and grew their own food naturally.

As a population, they were probably healthier. People had to do their own farming with primitive tools and plows and this kept them in shape. Their modes of transportation were less convenient and people used their own power to get around. They simply lived a healthier lifestyle and where exposed to more fresh air, sunshine, and better food choices.

Do As The Caveman Did

People in today’s society say they can’t lose weight. They should forget fancy diets and think about eating like a caveman for 6 to 8

Candy Bar

weeks. If they eliminate wheat, sugar (or any type of sweetener), packaged food, processed food of any kind, canned food, sodas, and dairy products, they can definitely lose weight. So in other words, no bread, buns, muffins, cake, cookies, donuts, soda, chocolate, sweeteners, hot dogs, hamburgers, milk, ice cream, bacon, cheese, sausages, packaged meat, canned food, beer (regular and lite), alcohol, and the list goes on and on. This type of food is slowly killing us and putting more money in the pockets of companies with weight loss programs and weight loss products.

If we stick to fresh or frozen vegetables, eggs, butter, whole grains like brown rice and oatmeal, potatoes, coconut oil, olive oil, water, nuts, black coffee or herbal tea, beef twice a week (if desired), fish (canned tuna and salmon okay), chicken, turkey, lamb, and limit our fruit intake because they are high in sugar, we can definitely lose weight.

                                Fruit

Do A Little Exercise

If you give this diet a try, get out there and do a little exercise for a change. It wouldn’t hurt if you go for a walk, ride your bike, or maybe go for a swim for at least 3 or 4 days a week. At least go exercise and get your heart rived up for about 45 minutes to an hour. This will make your heart stronger and with the loss of weight, it reduces your chances of a heart attack or stroke. Do “something” physically for a change and with the caveman diet and the exercise, you can lose weight naturally.

Change Your Life For The Better

After your 8-week trial is over with the new diet and exercise, you will be thrilled with your weight loss and you will know the secret to lose weight naturally. You can slowly add more varieties of food to your diet and monitor the difference it makes. You can also try using honey as a sweetener and leave off the sugar and artificial sweetener which packs on the fat. In addition, you should try adding a few dairy products like skim milk and yogurt (pass on the ice cream and coffee cream), a few more varieties of fruit, and some pasta (not wheat-based), allowing you to experiment and see what works for you.

If you are like me, you have spent tons of money on weight loss programs and weight loss products with nothing to show for them. How many months, years, books, and diets have you gone through with few results to show?

As you can see, this is an easy way to lose weight naturally. If your doctor has told you to lose weight or risk health problems or maybe even death, it is in your best interest to consider trying this caveman diet. What can be so hard
about trying this diet plan for 8 weeks and exercise that could change your life for the better? You will be around for years to come for your family and friends.

But as with anything, you need to have the right mindset to achieve your weight loss goals. If you think your heart is in the right place, you will do whatever it takes to lose weight and keep it off. So with this in mind, happy dieting!

  1. Hi Danny.

Thank you so much for that great article, and halle-freakin’-lujah! 😉
I always get super happy when I see people promoting a healthy diet, consisting of natural foods… It just seems to me like pretty much the only sensible way to go about it.
Personally I never REALLY had a weight issue, but some years ago, I discovered that I was “skinny-fat”. So I looked decent on the outside, but my fat percentage was actually pretty high. The fat was just hidden in my abdomen, which (as I see you have an article about) is actually the worst place to have it.
My approach was very similar to what you describe in this article, and it worked GREAT. Not only did my fat percentage drop. I also had tons more energy, my mood was better, my skin and hair looked better, my digestion etc. etc. etc…
So thank you for spreading the good information!

    Best wishes,
    Michael

  2. You really caught me off-guard with the “Twix” photo…it’s probably my favorite.
On another hand, it’s great that I got to read this post right now. Unfortunately, a few extra pounds can be found on my body after the holidays. And I don’t like that.
Exercising is something that I do at least 3 times a week so I have this down. But I could definitely improve my menu.
The canned tuna and the salmon – I’ll keep both of them in mind.
By the way, love the reference with the Caveman and how people looked back in the 19th century.
Honestly, your article is one of the best pieces of content I got to read recently.
Keep going the way you’re going, you’re doing an awesome job!

  3. Hi Danny,

This is a great article regarding the current hot topic of losing weight. I totally agree with you that obesity and gaining weight has something to do with what we eat. We should be very careful with what we take in. We have to make sure that we read the label and check the calories and nutrients that we can get from the food.

Yes, you are also right; fast foods, chocolates and processed foods like ham are also one of the big contributors in gaining weight.
We also need to take some time to exercise, even just a 10 to 15 minute walk a day would be better for us to stay fit.

Your article serves as an eye opener and reminder to us all that we have to be conscious with the food that we eat. Eating fruits and vegetables is the best way to go!

  5. I will definitely take these in consideration as I don’t want to use any pills etc. However what is your thought on intermittent fasting? I heard that it can be quite effective.

  6. CommentHi Danny, great post!
I eat like a caveman most of the time except I am a plant based eater so I omit the meat. Still, it works for me!
You are right, sugar is the enemy of modern times and we were SO much healthier before it became so common place in modern diets.
I think everybody should try your suggested diet to see how much better they feel.

  7. Excellent article Danny! I can’t wait to show it to my mother! She likes eating all the forbidden stuff you mentioned and is always complaining that she can’t lose weight . I’m sure your article will convince her to change her eating habits and try your diet.

  8. I love this article and your approach to why we struggle so much from obesity in today’s society. I’m a firm believer that is caused from the over processed foods we eat today. I never new canned food was so harmful… Is it still harmful if it says “Organic” on the label’s? I shop a lot at a little store called “Lidls,” which is becoming pretty popular in my area. They sale tons of organic foods including fresh, frozen, and canned. I thought if organic was on the label that it was safe to consume.
Thanks so much for sharing this! I love the “Caveman” tips. Great thoughts and information.
    Best of health,
    Devara

  9. Excellent article Danny!
So many people are forgetting about the basics and are looking for a quick fix. New diets are coming out all the time, and what people should be thinking about is the fact that our genetics have not changed for the past 200,000 years, but our environment has. If we do not conform to our ancestral genes we would fall victim to those in society that look ever so eagerly to benefit, such as the conventional medical system and the food industry.
